The Best and Worst at the Met Ball 2013

MY BEST DRESSED LIST

1. Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy - Love the print and open back detailing. The flowing train is simply elegant

2. Blake Lively in Gucci - This girl can do no wrong. Even after Gossip Girl has ended, Blake has continued the same style trends of Miss Serena Van der Woodson and who could blame her.

3. Gwen Stefani in Maison Martin Margiela - Gwen maintains her funky punk edge in this striking black and white number.

4. Jess Hart - Aussie model Hart has made her way to the big time in the US showing her toned and sexy midriff in this black structured top and sheer floor length skirt.

5. Jessica Alba in Tory Burch - I've always loved Alba's style and this dress is no exception. The minimalist make up and hair see her exude grace and class even with the edginess of the cut out detail.

MY WORST DRESSED LIST

1. Ginnifer Goodwin - Maybe if the eye make up was more subtle she could have pulled off this dress but unfortunately Goodwin just didn't hit the fashion heights on the night.

2. Katy Perry in Dolce & Gabbana. Front the artwork of a woman printed on the dress to the crown and massive earing, oh and the white face make up with dark lips, my eyebrows were raised wondering what was she thinking?

3. Kim Kardashian in Givenchy. I think enough jokes have gone around through social media today around this what seems to be a dress. The first time Miss kardashian has been invited to the MET Ball and this is what she choose to wear. Matching gloves and shoes??

4. Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs - Thank god there is a nude underlay but knowing Miley im sure she would have worn this dress even if there wasn't one. the hair is just an added over the top gesture.

5. Gwyenth Paltrow in Valentino - Only last month was she voted the sexiest woman but Paltrow get's it all wrong on this occasion. The horizontal see through panel and lack of skin showing any where else makes her look dull and dowdy.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

1. Miranda Kerr in Michael Kors - A daring choice for Miranda stepping away from her good girl looks but she does pull this look off effortlessly.

2. Nora Zehetner is Marchesa - Love the beautiful Indian sari material used to design an exotic structured dress

3. Anne Hathaway in Valentino - The new blond hair and daring sheer dress make Hathaway look more like a model then actress. This look is a keeper for her.
